How to Report a Crime
In an emergency, always call 9-1-1 immediately.
For non-emergency incidents, please call The Elida Police Department at 419-339-9481. An officer will respond to your call and may ask for information to better understand the situation.
Be prepared to provide:
• Your name and address
• Phone number (preferably the one you’re calling from)
• A description of the problem and who is involved
• Vehicle details (make, model, color, license plate, etc.), if applicable
• Suspect description (height, weight, clothing, hair color, etc.)
• Direction of travel if a suspect has left the scene
