Pay Traffic Fine

If you’ve received a traffic fine from the Village of Elida and it does not require a court appearance, you have a few convenient ways to pay. Whether you’re paying in person, by mail, or online, please be sure to follow the steps listed below and submit your payment by the assigned court date. If your citation does require a court appearance, information about attending court is also included below.

If You Have Received a Fine, What Are Your Options?

1. Pay Online

  • Visit our online payment portal: click here
  • Make your payment using a debit or credit card (a service fee applies)
  • Submit your payment before your scheduled court date

2. Pay in Person

  • Visit Elida Town Hall by 3:00 PM on or before your court date
  • Sign the waiver located on the back of your citation
  • Pay your fine using any accepted payment method listed above

3. Pay by Mail

  • Sign the waiver on the back of your citation
  • Mail your fine (check or money order only) to:

  • Payment must arrive by your assigned court date

4. Appear in Court

  • Attend court on your scheduled date, listed on your citation
  • Court is held on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM
