Residents can now use the updated Utility Payment link on the Village website to make online payments.

If you previously saved or bookmarked the old online payment page, please update your bookmark to the new Utility Payment link. The previous payment link is no longer the correct location for online utility payments.

The Village of Elida offers several convenient ways to pay your utility bill. Whether you prefer automatic deductions, online tools, or in-person service, we provide multiple options to meet your needs. Please review the choices below and select the method that works best for you. If you have any questions, contact the Village Office at 419-339-2811.

1. Automatic Payment (Recommended)

  • Payments are automatically withdrawn from your checking or savings account

  • Avoid late fees (when funds are available)

  • You’ll still receive your bill for your records — unless you are signed up for paperless billing

  • No processing fees

To enroll:

  • Complete the Automatic Payment Application

  • Attach a voided check or official bank document

  • Return your completed form to the Village Office

2. Online Utility Payment

With the new citizen portal (SSI Pay) you have options to:

-Make a one time payment through your bank account or with a credit/debit card

-Sign up for paperless (e-billing)

-Sign up for auto pay

-Sign up for text to pay

Previously Used NextBillPay?

The Village of Elida has transitioned to a new online payment system. If you previously bookmarked the NextBillPay website, please update your bookmark and use the new Village of Elida Online Payment Portal linked above for future payments.

3. Online Banking (Through Your Bank)

  • Pay directly from your bank’s online bill pay service

  • No Village fees

  • Use your correct utility account number

  • Allow mailing time for check delivery and processing

4. Pay in Person

  • Location: Elida Town Hall, 406 E. Main St., Elida, OH 45807

    Accepted payment methods:

    • Visa or Mastercard (fee applies for card payments)

    • Check
    • Cash

    Available during regular office hours.

5. Drop Box

  • Located on the east side of Town Hall

  • Open 24/7

  • Payments are collected and processed the next business morning

6. Pay by Mail

  • Detach the bottom portion of your bill

  • Include a check or money order (no cash)

  • Mail to:

Important AutoPay Disclaimer

AutoPay through the Village’s Automatic Payment (ACH) program is processed on the 12th of each month or the next business day.
